1. Provider and Scope

These Terms govern the use of the PE CFO Circle website, its member area and the registration for and participation in events organised by the PE CFO Circle.
Where separate conditions are communicated for a specific event, those conditions take precedence for that event.
2. Membership and Member Accounts
The PE CFO Circle is a carefully curated network for CFOs and senior finance leaders from private equity-backed companies.
Submitting an enquiry, receiving an invitation or creating an account does not by itself confirm membership. Membership is confirmed separately by the PE CFO Circle.
Member accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred. Members must provide accurate information, keep their login credentials secure and inform us promptly if they suspect unauthorised access to their account.
Members may request the closure of their account at any time.
We may restrict or terminate access where there is a material breach of these Terms, misuse of the website or conduct that significantly affects the Circle, its members or its events.
3. Respectful Use of the Circle
Members and participants are expected to treat one another respectfully and to use the Circle in a manner consistent with its professional purpose.
Members and participants must not:
• share their account with another person;
• interfere with the security or operation of the website;
• upload malicious or unlawful content;
• systematically collect or scrape member information;
• use information obtained through the Circle for unsolicited mass marketing, recruitment or commercial
solicitation;
• disclose non-public information that was clearly shared in confidence without the permission of the
person concerned;
• misuse the member area, event-registration system or contact details of other participants.
4. Event Registration and Participation
Events may have limited capacity.
Submitting a registration or request does not guarantee participation. A place is confirmed only when the participant receives confirmation from the PE CFO Circle.
Participants who are no longer able to attend are asked to inform us promptly so that the place may be offered to another member.
We may make reasonable changes to event dates, times, venues, formats, speakers or programmes.
We may also postpone or cancel an event where necessary. Registered participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Information regarding photographs or recordings at an event will be provided separately in the relevant event information or registration process.
5. Website Content and Intellectual Property
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website information accurate and current. We may update, modify or remove website content where appropriate.
Unless otherwise indicated, the content of this website is owned by or licensed to Skill Equity GmbH. It may be accessed and used for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with participation in the PE CFO Circle.
Further reproduction, publication, distribution or commercial use requires prior permission.
6. Website Availability and External Services
We aim to keep the website and member area reasonably available and secure. However, uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.
The website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content or services that are outside our control.
7. Liability
Skill Equity GmbH is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and in all other cases in which liability is mandatory by law.
In cases of simple negligence, Skill Equity GmbH is liable only for the breach of an essential contractual obligation. In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the relevant relationship.

Information about how personal data is processed is provided in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where this is reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to the website, the member area, event formats or legal requirements.
Members will be informed of material changes in advance where appropriate. Renewed acceptance will be requested where legally required.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
German law applies.
If the member or participant is a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main.
